The 516 Urban Type Basketball Hoop and stand - is an affordable, full size basketball goal with adjustable height setting.

Suitable for younger players and adults alike the unit includes a telescopic pole system that allows the height of the backboard and ring to be adjusted between 7’ 6” and official 10” height (2.3m to 3.05m). With a triangular nut and screw system that secures the pole in place the height can be adjusted to 6 different height settings: 230cm, 245cm, 260cm, 275cm, 290cm and 305cm.

The Urban Type unit includes a durable polypropylene backboard measuring 43” x 27” (110cm x 67cm) with a bold all black colour scheme and green ‘Sure Shot’ graphics. The backboard is designed to be highly durable but also lightweight making height adjustments easier and safer. The unit includes an 18” (45cm) steel ring suitable for full size basketballs.

The backboard and ring are set on a sturdy 3-piece steel pole with pole padding included as standard for added player protection during play. The unit includes a moulded base that requires water or sand for stability when in use – with wheels included for easy movement.

The unit is ideal for those with limited space for a unit – the tri-pod style base includes a slimmer and smaller ballast box than most standard models.

The 516 Urban Type Unit is approved by the British Basketball League and therefore is complete with a British Basketball League logo on backboard.
